  1. 19KaC is really struggling for material, all these new episodes are so mundane and all of the topics have been discussed and featured before. I really wonder if there will be another season, something interesting needs to happen!

  2. To anonymous, as Jim Bob has said, this isn't a "show," it is their life. If people are inspired by their lives and can come closer to God, then they feel like they have accomplished something. We are given a window into their day to day life and going to the dentist and other "mundane" things are just a part of it.

  6. On a brighter note Anna's sister Priscilla Waller and her husband David Waller are expecting their first child. Priscilla already has a small baby bump.

  9. who pays for all those bills? one set of braces without insurance is 6,000 dollars that would equal 114,000 thousand dollars. as much as a house cost.

    1. The Duggars do. They live debt free. They pay their own bills. Why would you assume they don't have dental insurance? They do.

  11. I love getting to see all those 'mundane' things that the duggars do! That is why I watch them, to learn how to improve my own parenting!

  13. Watching poor little Josie so uncomfortable at the dentist was awful; especially after seeing her in the episode prior at her doctor's visit incredibly upset. I agree with the poster who spoke about seeing a dentist visit again-it's been over-done!
There is material that has not been shown and could be: i.e a day in the life of John-David and his towing business, Michelle teaching Math to her children with follow-up and assessment, Jana and Jill in mid-wife classes, what Joseph does all day long, Jim-Bob conducting his family Bible time...

  14. I personally love all the "mundane" episodes. I like to see what they do in their everyday life FAR better than all of the road trips.... Although I'll take any episode with the Duggars in it. They are such an inspiration :)

  16. We enjoyed the dental one simply because we share the same dentist! I actually prefer the simple, mundane episodes. The trips are something we'll never do, but we do get to do the simple things just like them. It's real life. We probably could do without anymore dental episodes, though. This one was just different because it was the little ones going and not the older ones.

  17. The dentists in Red Deer could probably handle a family of this size. I'm shocked by how many children you have. Are there really 22?
