Deleted Scenes: Spa Duggar

The Duggar kids are going all out! Watch as they join forces with cousin Amy to prepare a Duggar-style spa for Grandma. Johannah and Jennifer mix the sugar cookies, Joy slices the cucumber, Jana lights the candles, and Jinger makes the chai latte.

  3. Hey, Lily and Ellie,

I am not able to watch the video because the spot where it should be is blank. This has happened with the past video of the older girls singing a new song.

  4. I loved the episode on fishing because it showed the Duggar family really actually get together as a family when not doing world traveling. My only complaint is that they did not kill the fish by catching them--whoever taught them to sling a fish that hard back into the water also taught them how to kill the fish another way. Please drop the fish gently into the water again, even if an adult has to do this for the younger children that shouldn't get close to the water. Watch the "sling." They are slinging a live thing that weighs from a few ounces to a few pounds like they are throwing rocks. Tell them to treat the fish as little babies, which they are. GENTLY place them back into the water. A full grown dog would have a hard time surviving those "slings" of the Duggar children way out into the lake! If Jim Bob finds fish carcasses, he can thank the Duggar sling! Gently release them, please. Gently.

    1. Thanks for the teaching about returning fish. I too would have done it wrong but now I'll do it carefully.

  5. That is so sweet how they honor their Grandmother. How precious! I never knew either of my Grandmothers. I would have loved to have had a relationship like that with them.

  10. Awwww this made me tear up a bit because I did the same thing for my grandma 2 months ago, pampered her with a manicure and pedicure with the whole set up. She LOVED it and she ALWAYS had so much energy and motivation (even with pancreatic cancer) but actually sat for an hour while she was pampered. She loved the warm water and getting her feet massaged. But as soon as I was done I told her she had to let her nails dry but she only sat for 5 minutes before she just HAD to get up and do laundry (she seriously was always moving!) and smudged her nails a bit. Lol Her and my grandpa lived out of state, unfortunatly. But luckily I spend as much time as possible with them and had been there for 3 months straight. I had planned on leaving for just 2 weeks the next day to get some business taken care of back home before returning to stay with her for the rest of the summer. I don't think she wanted me to leave because she knew the cancer was getting bad but understood that I needed too. We left for almost 2 weeks.... My mom and I ended up driving through the middle of the night (10 hours) arriving back a day earlier than expected when my grandpa informed us she was put in the hospital and they said she wouldn't make it through the night. When we got there the next morning she was in great spirits joking around and even wanted a hamburger when they were givig her a liquid diet lol we thought she would be getting out of there then after seeing her bounce back once they built her up with fluids all day. but they say she went down hill that night when my mom and I went home to get rest (since we had unexpectantly drove through the night) and when we arrived early the next morning, she wasnt responsive. We stayed by her side day and night the next 7 days while they her body was slowly shutting down (she had got Pancreatic cancer VERY unexpectatly 19 months earlier and was in extremely good health besides for the cancer, so her organs were still functioning well, she basiclly starved to death from the cancer not allowing her to eat or digest food properly) I massaged her feet and hands with lotion because I knew she enjoyed it and she would wiggle the other one when I paused for a second and was talking to my grandpa or something like "don't forget this one" and we played her favorite 50's music because we knew she still knew what was going on, talked to her, and just prayed a lot. She still had that pink nailpolish from the pedicure and manicure I gave her two weeks before. She passed away on a Sunday back in August. I don't know why I am saying all this and doubt anyone will see this. The Duggars are very blessed they have their grandma living with them. I'm just so glad that the Duggars appreciate their grandma like that and show her that they love her. I know I sure did and I sure tried to show my grandma that I did too, she knew she was loved. EVERYONE she met just loved her. RIP Grandma. <3

  16. Why would they delete the Duggar's Spa show? There are no immodest parts going on there. Everybody is always very modest. I guess TLC does not like modest people anymore. I'm Brenda King and I am speaking on behalf of the Duggars

  18. Wonderful video of deleted scenes. Thanks for sharing this. If you see the Duggars, you may want to let them know that eating cookie dough with raw egg in it can cause Salmonella poisoning. In the video the butter and egg are mixed with the cookie mix then Johanna licked the spatula. Not safe! I would never want any of those sweet Duggar children to get sick from raw egg. It's not fun.

  19. @ Meredith,
Thank you so much for sharing your experience, I am a nurse in Australia whom specialises in terminal care and I cant tell you how many people pass away alone because there loved ones either can't stand to see them sick or are scared so you should be very proud of the care you gave your grandma you are very brave and I know she must of been very proud of you.
    xx Joy
