Enjoy this video--provided by Tim and Franicia White--of Jana, Jessa, Jinger, and Joy singing at Vision Forum's first Reformation of Food and the Family Conference. The title of the song is "Thank God I am Free" (lyrics below).
"Thank God I Am Free"
Verse 1
For a long time I traveled
Down a long lonely road;
My heart was so heavy in sin I sank low.
Then I heard about Jesus,
What a wonderful hour;
I’m so glad that I found out
He could bring me out
Through His saving power.
Chorus:
Thank God I am free, free, free
From this world of sin.
I've been washed in the blood of Jesus,
I’ve been born again.
Hallelujah, I’m saved, saved, saved
By His wonderful grace.
I’m so glad that I found out
He could bring me out
And show me the way.
Verse 2
Like a bird out of prison
That has taken its flight;
Like a blind man that God
Gave back his sight.
Like a poor wretched beggar
That’s found fortune and fame,
I’m so glad that I found out
He could bring me out
Thro’ His holy name.

Thank you for sharing! Thank God for the Duggar family! The girls are such good role models for young girls and young women every where!
ReplyDeleteThanks girls that was beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWhy do the Duggars sing older Chrsitian songs and not songs that are more recent like Toby Mac, Casting Crowns ect...?
ReplyDeleteJimBob and Michelle were raised with Hymns. They want their children to be raised how they were raised pretty much. My children are homeschooled, my 8 girls wear skirts, and they only sing hymns.
DeleteWhat a beautiful song, sung by 4 beautiful young ladies. The Angels in Heaven were singing along I am sure.
ReplyDeleteThey sang so well. They all have amazing voices
ReplyDeleteGlad Joy was there! :) But where was Jill? :/
ReplyDeleteJill was at the conference, as well.

I like how Jinger kept looking to Jessa, like she was nervous and Jessa was comforting to her or something. :)

ReplyDeleteThank Jesus! Praise you God. Glory to the highest! Forever and Ever Amen.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful singing. I haven't heard that song in a very long time. My sister and I use to sing it when our small group of young people from church would visit the local nursing homes.
