ReplyDeleteTheir tastes in clothing have definitely modernized! ;-) Did they get a kitten?! It's so cute. Jessa looks really different with straight hair! :-O The pics are all so pretty! Was Jinger the photographer? I love the ones on the road, and I love Justin's shirt "Keep the Son in your eyes"! That's so cool!

The boy and girl with the guitar are Jonathan and Jennifer Hartono, friends that Jana and John met on their 2010 mission trip to Southeast Asia.
The ladies in the last pictures are on a retreat called Journey to the Heart.

ReplyDeleteHey Number1Fan! In answer to your question: Does Jinger have her own facebook? In their second book (A love that multiplies) Mr. Duggar says that none of the duggars have a facebook, but that some people make fake facebooks saying that they are one of the duggars. Hope that helps!!! :)

ReplyDeleteIf you are referring to my comments about a Duggar girl laying in the road, please don't label my comment as "unnecessary controversy." I pointed out the Duggar girl is breaking the law--and she is. Clearly, this is a government-owned road with the yellow stripes in the center. I pointed out the danger of someone laying in the road and the danger of a Duggar setting an example of breaking the law--and the pictures are clearly of a Duggar girl breaking the law. Now, that said, if you and the Duggars want to take the law lightly and break it, by all means do so and teach your children to take the law lightly (or not at all). A child of mine would never, ever, ever be allowed to lay in the middle of the road to pose for a picture and break the law, but, hey, I am not the law! Go for it! Post them! By all means! (I am confused about the two words "unnecessary" and "controversy" used in the same sentence. Do you mean you are one-minded? Controversy is unnecessary and we should think alike? Narsassistic and your way or the highway (no pun intended)? No one, including a Duggar, should be laying in the middle of the road to pose for a picture--that is illegal--Duggar and non-Duggars alike. And that is necessary controversy.

What we meant by "unnecessary controversy" was that it was our mistake to put the picture up in the first place. If we had not posted the picture, there would have been no controversy.

ok hands up who wants to take over this blog? who has the time to do all the research and has the contacts to get all the scoops? and who wants to put up with all the haters and negativity? is it an american culture to be so negative and demanding? what happened to being grateful and thankful for all the long long hours Lily and Ellie put into this blog. As a long time user of this blog I ask you please before you write hateful or negative things towards Lily and Ellie about this blog (not including positive criticism)ask yourself how you would feel if Lily and Ellie decide 'this is too much stress lets just close it down' as a dugger fan from Australia this blog is my only resource to follow them and I would be heart broken if this blog ends because of selfish negative people who think the world works for them. Lily and Ellie are not professionals (or god) they make mistakes!

ReplyDelete2) I was vaguely annoyed by the silliness about Jinger "breaking the law", so I spent some of my considerable amount of time with nothing better to do reading up on the law in AR. Lo and behold, what do you know? It's the same as in CA. Laying in the road is not against the law unless they are impeding traffic. I'm going to go out on a limb and say I'm pretty darn certain that there was not a long line of cars behind the photographer.
Lily/Ellie, you keep doing what you're doing and don't let yourselves be pushed around and feel like you have to remove things because someone is stomping their feet and you don't want static. We see it for what it is, at least most of us do.
Oh yeah-yay Duggars! They rock too. :)
