Here is the final segment of Ellie's interview with Jill Duggar. Thanks for joining us this week!
Ellie: Aside from working on the book, what have you and your sisters been up to?
Jill: "We just got back from the national ATI Conference, and Jinger left from the conference to go home. She had her first wedding photo shoot. She was really scared at first. She was like, 'I don't know how I'm going to do!' She's doing it with a friend of hers, so she and her friend, Megan, they went over, and she texted us pictures. She was like, 'I'm on my way, pray for me!' She was nervous about the lighting because the couple is getting married in a medieval chapel. She's been interested in photography and improving on her skills. She's taken photos for friends and stuff before, but this is her first paid job. So she is having a lot of fun."
"I have been busy studying. I'm an apprentice midwife right now, and I'll be starting my classes once I get back home again, and then delivering babies and all that. Jana has been going with me to births as a labor coach. Jessa has been working really hard on the book the last few weeks, getting a lot of the content organized. She's the organizer of the family, so she does a pretty good job. We've been busy, and traveling."
Jana and Jill have also been using their talents as they work with a girls' ministry.
UPDATE: Jinger's photo shoot went swimmingly.
Our readers are constantly asking if there are any Duggar courtships in the works. According to Jill, "Nobody is in a relationship right now or has anybody right now that they are courting our dating."
The girls hope to have their book on the shelves by the end of this year. In the meantime, we know that they would appreciate prayer as they gather their content into book format.

ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed the interview, sounds like the girls have a lot going on, busy busy!
ReplyDeleteWill they air an episode about Pricilla Keller's wedding? The film crew was there on the video.
ReplyDeleteAre they talking about the miscarriage in the book?
ReplyDeleteThey should give an about each girl, and dive into a little more of what we don't know. Like a personality quiz.
ReplyDeleteGood job jessa, jill, jana and jinger! i will be the first to read your growing up duggar.
ReplyDeleteIt is great to hear that they are doing so many things!
ReplyDeleteCan anyone tell me why none of the Duggars wear glasses? I would LOVE to know. Thanks!

ReplyDeleteSome people just have perfect 20-20 vision like me (I'm older). It is amazing that none of them do. The younger ones probably don't because they don't have trouble seeing yet. Usually that happens as you age. The older ones might have contacts. I saw Anna, Joy-Anna, and Michael with glasses before. Michael's were just for fun. Anna and Joy-Anna might have glasses, though. Have a great evening, morning, or afternoon depending on where you live.
I will look forward to their book being released. I have loved the two books their parents have written.
ReplyDeleteHi Lilly and Ellie!
ReplyDeleteI was just wondering how you reach the Duggars and how you let them know about your blog? I was also wondering if you could write a post about the Duggars home and maybe do a tour of their home type thing!
Thanks!!
Emma :)
That is a great update! I hope they go far! As for dating and courting that is something that takes time! I am 24 and still single and am waiting for the man God wants me to be with! Like the girls I am focusing on Jesus, my family, others and myself!

For a tour of the Duggars' home, check out this post: http://duggarsblog.blogspot.com/2011/12/tour-duggar-home.html.
Have a blessed day,

ReplyDelete@harmony
ReplyDeleteHi Harmony,
It doesn't look like the Duggars have any plans to visit Ontario in the near future.
Thanks for reading,
Lily and Ellie
Jinger's photo shoot went swimmingly??
ReplyDeleteI am so happy that your interested in being a midwife! Imagine your connection to millions of women throughout history, including the brave Hebrew midwives mentioned in Exodus. Please write more of your experiences and births (if your clients allow it). As a professional doula, I hope you get the word out!
ReplyDeleteHi jill duggar one day I like to meet all jinger and jessa and jana and your mom michelle and your family my name is emily canty I live at rock hill south carolina how are you doing I will 22 years old tomrrow
DeleteThese young women are very wholesome and pretty. I think it's great that they are pursuing their interests. I wonder however if they are too intimidating to young men who might otherwise be interested in courting them? The T.V. show and notoriety might have caused many potential suitors from avoiding any contact with them for fear of the intense scrutiny and extremely high standards of the family. Plus the fact of the family themselves! That's also something that might be a bit off putting. The other comment is about Sarah Mally who wrote the book "Before You Meet Prince Charming." This woman is now in her early 30's and there has not been nor is there any indication of there being a husband in her future. Maybe there is something Jim Bob Duggar and Pastor Mally (?) and the Bates' father need to investigate...about problems associated with their daughters finding husbands.
ReplyDeleteLily and Ellie-
ReplyDeleteIs there any more word on when the book is coming out? I'm really excited to read it!
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous,
The girls are hard at work and hope to have it out on the shelves as soon as possible. Stay tuned!

Hi Jill, I am sixteen and training to become a doula and going to be graduating a year early to get my career going with becoming a midwife, if I may ask what did you have to do to become a midwife apprentice? In June 2013 I will be watching my first birth! I am very excited!
ReplyDelete@AnonymousThere were some pictures of Jill wearing glasses while assisting in a childbirth and One of the other girls had to get glasses due to eye strain. So not all of them have 20/20 anymore.
