Jill Duggar Interviews Russian Native

While campaigning in Missouri, Jill Duggar interviewed Zoya, an 18-year-old who was adopted from Russia six years ago. (Since the interview, Zoya has been elected delegate.)

  1. Does this girl think we don't have freedom unless R. Santorum gets elected????? Or that the other candidates will take our freedom away????? She sounds very confused to me.

  2. Anonymous, she isn't confused. She has just had a different point of view, having lived in Russia. Everyone chooses the candidate that he or she believes will be the best leader for the country. Doesn't make her, or anyone else, wrong. Just different.

  3. I live in MA and experienced life under Romney during his 1 failed term as govenor....so....Go Rick!! I dread it if Romney wins. I wonder if Jill will be doing more interviews like this? With the girls writing a book now it would be nice if they started to host a tv series for young woman to encourage other young woman, discuss issues, share ideas.

  4. "She hopes Rick Santorum wins because without freedom...." This is just adding fuel to the belief that the Duggars are brain-washers. Now the second generation is brain-washing innocent people. The United States of America has been a free country for well over 200 years! With or without Rick Santorum! And will continue to be a free country if Rick Santorum doesn't win!

  5. To Anonymous,
She's referring to freedom of religion. That's part of the campaign that Santorum is running on (in reference to the HHS mandate regarding Catholics and contraception). To him (Santorum) and his supporters, the HHS mandate is an attack on religious freedom by forcing those who oppose contraception on religious grounds to cover contraception and abortifacients for their employees. So that's why Zoya is referring to freedom and it being taken away (because under Obama/other candidates it will be taken away).

  7. Kathryn Lucy: Please refer to the First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. Freedom of Religion has already been settled in 1917.

  9. @Kathryn

A delegate is a representative. Zoya will go on to the Missouri state convention to cast her vote for Santorum.
