Like all sisters, the girls also have their differences. Jinger is heavily into photography and takes photos for the family's personal album and website. Jessa is passionate about teaching and chooses to spend her days helping homeschool the younger Duggars.
According to Jinger, "Jessa is pretty matter-of-fact...She has an opinion, she'll tell you, in a nice way."
"[Jinger] doesn't want to hurt anybody's feelings," explains Jessa. "Her stories always have lots of details." "Too many," admits Jinger.

Jessa is in the top picture and Jinger is in the bottom one. Lily and Ellie, Jinger's picture was on top of some words. It made it a little hard to read. Can you please move it down so it doesn't cover the words?

Jessa in the top picture and Jinger in the bottom. And Jessa is the older of the two. But they really are distinct in their looks. Jinger has darker eyes and Jessa has a soft smile. Beautiful girls.

ReplyDeleteI don't understand how people confuse the two. They have similar features, but I wouldn't exactly say twins. Although, with all those kids, they hardly favor another. A lot of similar traits though. I think Jinger (bottom) favors Jana.
ReplyDeletethey do look alike but you can tell them apart! Jessa has more softer of a smile then Jinger great big happy smile! They are very alike but so different! I think they are very pretty young ladies and would make great friends!

ReplyDeleteMy sister and I are 15 months apart and have some of the same traits as Jana and Jinger. My sister is the older, is more outgoing, and has opinions she will share readily. I am more creative, more reserved, and also don't want to hurt people's feelings. People thought we were twins from about age 3 to age 7.

ReplyDeleteI have a story to share. The Duggar "girls" are taught to look like bag ladies from neck to knee, but above the neck and below the knee can be adorned and painted. I took a niece shopping with my 2 daughters when all were 15 years old. I bought all 3 bikini underwear. The niece's mother screamed like Mommy Dearest and said her daughter was only allowed to wear solid white briefs and treated me like I was Madam X. Long story short -- niece had 2 children out of wedlock by the time she was 18. I guess she forgot to wear her white granny pannies.

ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful girls who love the Lord. Jinger is one of the sweetest, most considerate person. We had the honor and privilege of meeting them at their latest booksigning. Jill is also so very sweet. She is a lot like Michelle. You can tell they really care about making others feel loved, accepted, and important. You can see Jesus in them. The Lord has done an amazing work with this family and will continue to do so as they seek Him.

ReplyDeleteI like that the girls dress modestly and still look cute! I dress modest I mean a wear jeans but I don't wear shorts or shirts with out sleeves or that are low cut! I don't think the girls dress frumpy because they are dressing more modest then most young girls on TV! Jinger and Jessa both look like Michelle!

ReplyDeleteSame answer as others. Jessa top pic and Jinger bottom. I recall Michelle talking about Jinger saying that she was quite a spirited child. Jinger really does reflect the love of God and she also has a fiesty spirit which I love. She's a strong woman and I love that quality. I think it's possible to honor and respect parents and then love and cherish a husband all the while having a strong lively spirit. I think Jinger is probably a lot like her mom. Michelle really is sweet spirited, but she is a strong woman and won't be trampled all over.
ReplyDeleteJessa is sweet spirited yet much different from her sister. Jinger has energy she uses for photography while Jessa seems more content at home and taking care of family. Both ways are fine. I know Jessa has interests too.

Jessa is in the top picture, Jinger is in the bottom one. I have two sons with a 13 month age gap and they get on brilliantly and always have done, despite the fact that my eldest (age 20) has been brought up from the age of 11 by my parents whilst my youngest (age 19) remained with his Dad. I have major health problems and haven't been able to look after them. I have a brilliant relationship with them despite this. They are good friends as well as brothers, despite the fact that they have different interests.

ReplyDeleteI have memorized all the Duggar faces... and I can say them from Josh Duggar down. I watch them all the time and I'm always telling other people about them and the top one by no mistake is Jessa (Duggar) Seewald & the bottom one is Jinger Duggar both for sure I don't think they look anything alike. I would love to meet them someday, but I don't live in ''Arkansa'' I live in ''Pennsilvania'' and I know they do book signings but does this site let you know when & where the next book signing is.
