I agree with Rick Santorum on one thing that has absolutely baffled me for years. How can anti-abortion people that say they believe life begins at conception also say they are anti-abortion except in the case of rape, incest, and danger to the mother's life? If you believe life begins at conception and that God created and knitted all babies together in their mother's womb(which would mean at conception), how can you believe it is okay to overrule God in the case of rape, incest, and danger to the mother's life? If you believe life begins at conception and you are anti-abortion on that basis, there is no rule about rape, incest, and danger to the mother's life. It is what it is, else you are saying God makes mistakes. You have to be one way or the other...there can't be any "ifs" if you believe life begins at conception and God is over all conception. And how many readers out there that would vote for Santorum are on birth control? Santorum wants the government to make that decision for you and to him the government's decision would be for the government to take away your decision--you would have no decision to make because he wants to ban birth control. I wish this fan club would look long and hard at their own beliefs, standards, and see that Santorum, Duggars, want to come into your bedroom and make your decisions for you. If you are an 11-year-old child that becomes pregnant out of incest, you would be forced to deliver that child. If you raped and become pregnant, you would be forced to deliver that child. If your doctor tells you that you will die in childbirth, you would be forced to deliver that child. If your doctor tells you that it would be dangerous for you to become pregnant, you and your husband would have to abstain from sex because conception would be banned.
If Santorum were voted for President and got his wish, the states would have yet another government agency spring up--the government agency (paid for by our state taxes) you go to see to get approval to use contraception. If Santorum got his wish, you would actually need to go to a government agency and get their approval in order to use contraception when having sex with your husband. Maybe not--that may be too liberal of me. Maybe he wants just an across the board "no contraception under any circumstance" rule. I know without a doubt in my mind, the moderator will block this. It makes too much sense and reveals too much.
We are all our own truth and our own interpretation of the Bible. No person that walks this earth has the ability to judge even a bird as being righteous or non-righteous. That task belongs to Jesus Christ alone. This includes politics. God will anoint who he wants to be in charge of this great nation of ours in the long run. Like it or not, it will not be Santorum. Now there are some out there that will say Santorum did not win due to evil spirits. Not...God is in charge. The winner will be who God wants to win. God is above all evil, remember that. Please support our President and serve in our armed forces.
Lily and Ellie I just wanted to let you know that it work just fine for me, not sure if you did anything but it work. I love that you are doing this. We love the duggar's in our house.

Yesterday, the Duggars visited Wade's Family Restaurant, a Spartanburg landmark famous for good Southern home cooking.
Thanks to Caroline, one of our loyal readers, for emailing us the link to the restaurant's Facebook page! Copy and paste the link into your web browser, and you will find pictures from the Duggars' visit: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Wades-Family-Restaurant/52860918519
Quote from Rick Santorum regarding contraceptives:
"It's been clarified about oh, 150,000 times, so I'll clarify 150,001: I've never said I wanted to ban birth control. I wouldn't vote for it. This is sort of the sad part that comes in, with folks who have an agenda aren't really interested in the truth."
When you click the volume control button, it displays a green volume meter on the right side of the video screen. To increase the volume, just drag the bar. The video might also be muted. (The mute/unmute button will appear below the green volume meter.)
If that isn't the problem, try checking the volume controls on your computer.
His voice may have been a little rough, but you have to give him points for trying. We sure wouldn't have had the guts to sing in front of so many people.
This Land Is Your Land is a socialist song by Woody Guthrie.
You guys might want to Google the full lyrics before you decide to perform it again. Personally,I think it should be the national anthem but I don't think you understand it's context.
Contraception is just that. Contra (against) conception (the making of life) when making love with your husband you are giving your whole self to each other. Using contraception says "I give my whole self to you... except my precious ability to give life."
Thanks for leaving your comments! We answer as many of your questions as we can, but due to the number of comments we receive daily, we are unable to answer every one. Our aim is to post all points of view, but we do not post anything that is profane, insulting, derogatory, or in poor taste.
There is not a video showing up...
ReplyDeleteSound?
ReplyDeleteThe video might take a minute to load (or longer, depending on the computer). There is an ad that runs before the Duggars come on.
ReplyDeleteThe volume control is to the left of the "menu" button (in the bottom right-hand corner).
Hope this helps! Anyone else having trouble?

Jisk actually has a decent tone to his voice he just needs lessons to learn breath cntrol and how to express his phrases correctly.
ReplyDeleteJosh has such a wonderful voice! He should record an album of gospel music! I would buy it for sure.
ReplyDeleteTo cleanse the palate, I had to listen to President Barack Obama take on Al Green.
