In the Irish Countryside!

Here's a quick Duggar update for you all! They spend the day in the windy and rainy (but beautiful!) Irish countryside. To see an adorable picture of Josie and cousin Amy, click here.

Are you a country person, or do you prefer the city?

  1. I was born and raised in the country and my parents own a cottage in the country so, I love the country life! I actually live in a small agricultural town with500 residents and it is a very friendly place to live in.

  2. Well, I like the beauty and openness of the country, but I definitely prefer having the city conveniences...I like walking a lot more than driving and love having tons of things within a mile of my house. I wouldn't want to have to drive five miles if I needed chocolate chips when baking.

  3. I spent the first 14 years of my life living in the Suburbs and then I moved to live on my family's 290 acre family so I'm kind of both. It was a big culture shock! I can't believe you get a day off school for deer huting.

  4. I am definitely a country person! Even though we live in a small neighborhood, I would so much prefer to be living in a farmhouse on 200 acres of land!! That way we could hang clothes on the line in our back yard without people thinking we were crazy, and we could have a bigger garden with chickens and goats and best of all...HORSES!!!!!

  7. I have lived in the town all my life and even when I moved out to the "suburbs" it was a huge shock as I had to walk a good few minutes to get to the nearest shop. We have no children but if we do then I would think the countryside would be wonderful "but" I don't drive and that would be a bit of a problem

  9. At the moment we live in the city of Anchorage. We are NOT city people. We much prefer the quiet little town living and even out of town at that. God has brought us here for a reason with the army and we will fulfill the contract here and then we pray that God has something amazing in store for ministry where we can be back to our roots of country life and still love people!

  10. Adorable pic of Amy & Josie!, however, I thought "Yikes!"...Josie is traveling out of the country, abroad and in all the different planes, hotels, etc.? Is anyone else a little nervous about this? (I think in the early days of Josie they had mentioned it was advisable to definitely not do something like this until at least she was 2 years old) I'm curious as to if Jim Bob & Michelle will comment on this...I'm saying a prayer.

  11. I live in Northern Ireland which i know the Duggars visited not that long ago but people think that Ireland is all one is not theres a North and a south. North is part of the UK and the south is Ireland. I wish i had of got the chance to meet the Duggars when they visited as ive watched the show.
