Today the Duggars are departing on an exotic, 25-day trip overseas! So far, we don't have a schedule of all their public appearances, but, thanks to our faithful followers (what would we do without you guys?) we have a few bits of information to share.
This Sunday, the Duggars are attending the Blairgowrie and Rattray Highland Games. Can you guess what country that's in? Scotland! The Games will be held at Bogle’s Field, Essendy Road, in East Perthshire.
The Duggars are also headed to Israel! With the help of technology, we were able to translate part of this article (which happens to be in Hebrew). According to Google Translate, the article introduces the family and mentions the fact that they will be in Israel soon but does not give a schedule of their appearances.
When we receive more information about the Duggars' travels, we will definitely post it. In the meantime, if any of you have anything to share, feel free to email us at DuggarFamilyBlog@gmail.com.
Have you been to Scotland or Israel?

Have been to Scotland twice a long time ago --the late 1980's. Would love to be able to go again someday.
ReplyDeleteIt seems that the Duggars have landed in Edinburg since Sean Overbeeke has tweeted that.
ReplyDeleteBy the way i haven't been in Scotland but i've been in Israel this past Feb.
We are living in England for the next several years (on a US Air Force base). We went all over Scotland a few months ago and it is one of the most beautiful places on Earth! I'm sure they'll have a great time--once they all get over the extreme jet lag. It would be such a blessing to meet them.
ReplyDeleteput the two places where they are going under the apperance
ReplyDeleteon myspace they have the family going to Scotland, Ireland, Israel
ReplyDeleteI just saw the Duggars in Edinburgh! They were on the Royal Mile and were being filmed with one of the bagpipers there! :)
ReplyDeleteif anyone ask i think someone drove the duggars to the airport and got on a plane yesterday and the landed in Landed in Edinburgh today and going to be at the Blairgowrie & Rattray Highland Games tomorrow so for this big fmaily what have someone driving them to these place and left their bus at home i think becuase you cant travel with that bus to go overseas with so i know that the duggars are taking a plane ride for this trip overseas
ReplyDeleteI just saw that the new season starts on September 27; according to Wikipedia. Check it out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/19_Kids_and_Counting_episodes.
ReplyDeleteI have been to Europe, but none of the places the Duggars are going. I know it will be a very educational trip for all their younger kids. Will they get to see Jill and Jana while they are overseas? I know they are gone right now
Hi Anonymous!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip!
Jill and Jana were in Peru, and now they are traveling with the family overseas.
Thanks for reading!

I hope they get to enjoy the Ein Gedi Day Spa at the Dead Sea. I went there in 2002 on a Birth Right Israel trip and we had a blast. I'm sure they are there to see Christian sites but it's a beautiful country no matter what religion you follow. Our sunrise hike up Mount Massas was fun too. Got those who care it was one of the spots where the original Jesus Christ Super Star was filmed
ReplyDeleteI am in Israel right now, and would love to go to a book signing or to simply meet them. If anyone has any information on where/when they will be in Israel, that would be amazing! (All it says in the ynet article is that they will be arriving september 10th). I personally think it would be cool if they were to meet with the family in safed, in which the mother has 22 kids ( no twins).
ReplyDeleteaw, thats awesome their in Scotland! I wish I'd have known as I would have gone to the Blairgowrie show, just to have the opportunity to see them! I live in Orkney (off the north coast of scotland) so would've needed warning. Oh well, I guess I'll just have to wait for the next season of the show on t.v :)
ReplyDeleteis this for real? SeanOverbeeke Sean Overbeeke

Hi Anonymous!
ReplyDeleteSean Overbeeke has a sense of humor, so that tweet was most likely a joke. India, Pakistan, and Iran are unsafe for foreigners, and Antarctica is incredibly difficult and expensive to visit.

ReplyDeleteI am wondering about costs though and Josie on a plane??

ReplyDeleteI have been to Scotland and I live in Ireland, I just love Edinburgh. Anyone know where they flew to in Ireland, it would give me an idea as to where they may be going
ReplyDeleteI've been to Scotland and to Israel. Scotland (especially the highlands) is a beautiful. Wish I could go back some day. Went on a 10 day pilgrimage through Israel. This was the trip of a lifetime. I love the Jewish people. Now when I read my bible I can actually visualize things like baptisms in the Jordon River, crossing the Sea of Galilee, the 6 day battle, and beautiful Jerusalem. God's blessings to the land of Isreal, and the Jewish people.
