ReplyDeleteI am a mother of three boys. When I was pregnant with my third child, I wanted a little girl only because I already had two boys. It was ordained by God that I would give birth to a third boy. In deciding on his name, I wanted him to be named after me somehow. My middle name is Beth. My husband came up with Seth which fit perfectly! Camron Seth has been such a blessing and completion to our family. He was a big surprise to us and is ten years younger than our middle son. We thought we were finished with our family but God saw otherwise. I love being a mother and I am so thankful for the family that God has blessed us with. We may not be as big as your family, but we certainly love God and our family as 'big' as you do! God bless you all and the tv show as God uses your lives to impact others!

ReplyDeleteI am (sadly) named after a soap star on a show my Mom watched as a a teen. My husband is named after his great-great grandfather (who was named after a former president). My oldest child is named after my husband and his middle name is from his grandfather. My youngest is named after my 2 favortie books of the Bible and a childhood friend. So in some way, everyone in this house is named after someone else. LOL..

ReplyDeleteNo, but my first name means beloved. My sister's first name means peace, and her middle name is Joy, so we sometimes teased my parents a bit that they were looking towards december and advent (having three of the four weeks in our names) with us being summer births!

ReplyDeleteI am named after my mother's best friend from high school. My husband is not named after anyone, but the first letter of his name is the same as his dad. Our son has the same initials as my husband (RJA), and he is named after his great grandfather, and my cousin. My daughter has my mothers middle name and my husband's grandmother's name. We have several other names for future children, all that take one name from each side.
ReplyDeleteMy mom is just a name my grandfather and a good friend liked.(AnnMarie) My grandma wanted the name Cynthia witch is my anut's name.My dad James Willam,is named after his grandfather,his great-grandfather,and his uncle.That is just his first name.Willam is after his father and other grandfather.I Kathryn Mae,am named after my great aunt how I admire and my great grandmother's middle name.My sister Elizabeth Marie is named after my great-grandmother and part of my mom's name.

ReplyDeleteMy son's first name is Joshua, just a name that both his daddy and I love. His middle name is Kayvon. We asked his birth parents (Josh is adopted) to give him his middle name, and they chose Kayvon, his birth fathers first name. It is an Iranian name meaning "star in the sky."
