Enjoy this video--sent by one of our fabulous followers--of the younger Duggars singing "I've Been Redeemed" at Branson's Little Opry Theatre. This was filmed on the same day and at the same location as cousin Amy Duggar's performance in "Music with the Duggars."

Having the Duggar kids sing during the same set as Amy seems to diminish Amy a bit. Too bad the whole set didn't just include Amy so she could shine alone.
ReplyDeleteJOY WAS AMAZING!
ReplyDeleteJoy was great! Thank you for sharing!
ReplyDeleteI have watched your show for about 3 yrs. I got to see you in person in Tulsa last Sunday. I was so excited I kept calling Amy Anna.
ReplyDeleteEveryone was so nice. I was the lady in black that came up to Anna and got a big hug. Thank you Anna.
Loved seeing Jinger & Jessa,JoyAnna
and Jeremiah.
Where were they in tulsa? I live a couple hours from there and would love to see them again. I drove all the way to little rock last year to a book signing. They r true Christians and have a heart for people. How did you find out they were going to b in tulsa?
DeleteYeah i thought the same. i know they were supporting amy by being there but they didnt have to sing as well. cant they let amy have something of her own?
ReplyDeleteyah Joy was very good i am her age and I can't sing to save my life!!! I want to hear more of her.
ReplyDeletejoy was fantastic
ReplyDeleteI agree that it is unfair to Amy! Also, the kids all have lovely voices, but they are all shouting, if they sang more gently it would be beautiful.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous Joy was good though!!
ReplyDeleteVery cute, all the children are very talented. Was there a clip of Amy?
ReplyDeleteSandy
Loved it!!!
ReplyDeleteHey, Lily and Ellie, the Bates show will air on Tuesday March 13th and they'll be doing 8 half hour shows starting in the summer.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know the bates were getting a show. What will it b called?
DeleteI haven't seen this episode of the show, so I don't know any details of how or why any of them were asked to sing. Were Jim Bob and his family asked to sing first, or was Amy? Were they both asked at the same time?
ReplyDeleteWhatever the situation may be, I would be surprised if Amy resented sharing this opportunity with them. After all, they have graciously included her in their show for many years.

ReplyDeleteHi Sandy,
We do not have a clip of Amy, but you can hear a sample of her singing on her website (AmyDuggar.com).

Hello Lily and Ellie, I don't know where to ask you that, I have read on the Bates web that they have done a previous one hour show for abc. Here is the question, Is there any way to watch it on the internet, since I am in Spain?
ReplyDeleteThank you so much
@Beatriz
ReplyDeleteHi Beatriz,
Do you have access to Hulu? You can watch the Bates ABC special on Hulu at http://www.hulu.com/watch/271402/abc-primetime-nightline-my-extraordinary-family-bates-18-kids-
We are glad to have you as a reader!

Okay, the comments here about AMY are just weird! I agree with Lisa G - the Duggars are fabulous people all around, and they would never do anything to hurt anyone else, including being supposedly insensitive to Amy. For Pete's SAKE. It didn't diminish her act at all. Looks like the gig showcased the talent within the whole family. There's nothing wrong with that. Each brought something different to the table.
ReplyDeleteLoved the vid. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you Lily and Ellie for the info. I couldn't use the link you passed me 'cause it only works in the States. But I was able to find out the show on the intenet.
ReplyDeletethis is a weird question, but do you have a link to the video on youtube? i want to put it in a playlist to watch later, and for some reason the video won't link to the youtube page. maybe it's just me? thanks!
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteThat video was sent to us by one of our loyal readers, so there is no YouTube link.
Have a blessed day,
Lily and Ellie
