  1. I have a question for Michelle. She and her daughters wear a white undershirt under a lot of their clothes - what a smart idea! With this shirt, she is able to wear just about anything, including shirts that would otherwise be too immodest. Where did she find these undershirts?

Also, please tell Michelle how very dear she is to me. Although we have never met, she has been such an encouragement to me. May God richly reward her for her steadfastness, and her willingness to endure public criticism. If she had hidden her light under a bushel, we all would have missed out on so much. Lisa G

  2. I'd like to know where they get their undershirts also. Lisa G, I also wear many different color undershirts to make cloths more modest. I buy all my undershirts from Old Navy. They are extremely inexpensive ($5) or sometimes they go on mega sale. They also have long sleeve shirts. I always pair them with a coupon. I buy all my other clothes from thrift stores, but I feel, for myself, more comfortable in a brand new undershirt. Mostly because I know used undershirts can be quite worn. Hopefully, this helps!

Also, I always pray before I go shopping. I ask the Lord to show me clothes that would be glorifying and pleasing to Him and to be a good stuart of my money.

  5. Michelle I'm so excited to have the chance to ask you some questions. I am a NEW mommy to a TWO and FOUR year old. My husband and I have just adopted a little girl and boy. For seven years it was only my husband and I and we became very accustomed to a very quiet house. I welcome the joyful noise that now fills our home and the sweet sound of their voices saying "Mommy". That being said...It can be overwhelming. I really don't think they've gone ten minutes without calling out for me. They are very needy/clingy. You Michelle seem to have the patience of job. Please share any advice you have on how to cope with the noise, clingy kids and the constant "Mommy"! Thank you so so much for you time:)Jaycee of Utah

  11. I've got to say... the Chat Room was the worst! Some of the people were so disrespectful. There were a few times in which I had to leave.

But, thank you Ladies for your good work today! It's always nice to hear ya'll!

    Have a great day,

    Allison

  12. Such a fun interview, and a job well done Lily and Ellie!

The questions were interesting, and it was much more fun that the typical media appearance where a reporter asks the same old 'tired' questions.

It was exciting to hear questions from like-minded folks being asked. Nina seemed to put a lot of thought into the interview, and kept the conversation perking along.

As for the chat room, well.. not much we can do about those other people.. but it was great to have some gentle-spirits in the chat to balance things out.

Great job with the blog, when people post questions on wiki.answers.com, I often direct them your way for their answers!

(and of course, if any of you see anything not right on WA .. please correct it or drop me a note so that someone can fix it pronto!)

  13. So glad you enjoyed the interview, Lemsgarden! Your question about music was a thoughtful question that led to some new information and good discussion.

Thanks for promoting our blog on WikiAnswers! We have been on there several times, and your answers look great.

  14. Can you please ask Michelle the Jim Bob the following question.
I am sure many people have decided to follow a christian life after watching the inspirational Duggars ...I think their show has proved to the world, that just because you are a christian doesn't mean you are freaky or weird or judgemental. What advice do Michelle and Jim Bob give to someone such as myself who are just starting their christian walk?

  15. Hi Fiona!

First off: Welcome to God's family!
We don't have any scheduled interviews with the Duggars at the moment, but we can answer your question based on what they have said in the past...

    1. The Duggars love their church fellowship -- connecting with a solid, Bible based Christian community will really help you in your walk with God.
    2. Jim Bob and Michelle emphasize the importance of daily prayer and Bible study. Whether making a major decision or planning for the upcoming week, they always ask for God's guidance.
    3. Reach out to the people around you. The Duggars are constantly looking for opportunities to show God's love by serving and encouraging others. Being the hands and feet of Jesus will not only impact the world for Christ, but it will also deepen your own faith. One of the Duggars' favorite sayings is JOY: Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last. By following "JOY", you are obeying God's greatest command: Love the Lord your God with all your heart, soul, mind, and strength; and love your neighbor as yourself.
    4. Praise God in the good times and in the bad times--there is always something to be thankful for. Jim Bob and Michelle demonstrated this while walking through the birth of their premature daughter, Josie, last year.

God works for the good of those who love Him, and He has a plan for your life. It isn't always easy, but trusting God is key to experiencing His best.

If you have other questions, just ask.

    Blessings,
    Lily and Ellie
