Josie Duggar: Miracle Baby

Miracle. That's the only word to describe Josie Duggar. Born three months early at only 1 pound 6 ounces, she spent the first six months of her life in the NICU. But you would never know by looking at her now. She's talking and walking. What a blessing!

  2. I am also the mother of a premie baby girl. Our little Savannah was born 2 months premature. I am so grateful that your family was willing to share your experience with Josie on air. It was such an encouragement to me. Unless you have personally experienced it you can never grasp the full emotion of what having a premie is like. God bless Josie, He must have big plans for her!

  3. Josie is such a little miracle. I truly believe that everything in life happens for a reason. There is a reason why your family has had to deal with this struggle and there is a reason why Josie is on this earth. Congratulations to you and your beautiful family.

  4. I was a premature baby myself, I was born @23 weeks and my weight was 1lb 3oz an my weight dropped down to 13oz. I spent 8 months in the hospital, now I'm 24 years old and I love watching your show and reading your books. Your family is very inspirational, also very strong. I was also wondering how Mackyenzie was doing with the new baby brother? P.S. this is being written for me by someone else. Thank You

  5. I was just writing to say what an amazing gift Josie is. I was also a premature baby, My weight was 1lb 3oz and it dropped down to 13oz. I spent 8 months in the hospital that was 24 years ago. I love watching your show, and reading your books. I'm looking forward to watching this season starting in September. Thank you for showing America that we shouldn't be afraid of big families. Family is all the love and support anyone needs to survive in this world, even with this troubled economy. You have shown us all that with God, Trust, Love, and Family all things are possible. P.S. This is being written for me by my friend.

  9. Josie is such a cutie. Every time I see her she makes me smile and realize how precious life really is. God was showing off when he gave the Duggars Josie, and that's a wonderful thing.

  12. Josie is truly a miracle baby and protected by the very hand of God Himself. I praise Him every day for things like this. I also love how Michelle said on the show that they call Josie their little teapot because she's short and stout. It's so cute, I would sing the teapot song to her all the time if I were a Duggar! Lol:) love and blessings 2all!
