This child is getting old enough to figure out what went on with her father, or hear it from someone, or stumble across something in a magazine. And then what? How can you have done that to your own daughter?
ReplyDeleteSo sad for her and the other children in that family. Yes, she will discover the truth someday, and it will hurt terribly all over again. She probably already sensed that something was wrong, or was told some cover-up story about why her father was away for so long. Cannot imagine putting your child in that position. Especially when you're supposed to know better!

ReplyDeleteJosh has to know that his kids are getting older and will expect explanations someday. We can only imagine what that will include. Can't look at those kids without remembering how he hurt them for his own selfish reasons.
