Duggar wedding No. 3 ended up being just as large as Duggar wedding No. 2. This afternoon, Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald recited their marriage vows in Bentonville, Arkansas, in front of more than 1,000 guests.
Jessa wore a lacy, flowing wedding gown in a pale tone with a beaded bodice. Jessa's maid of honor, Jinger Duggar, and ten bridesmaids wore coral dresses that matched Ben's bow tie.
Michelle Duggar calls Ben Seewald a "peacemaker and a gentle, kind man." Dylan McMahan, Ben's best man, says the groom is a "man of integrity."
"We love Jessa so much and are so happy for her." Michelle told PEOPLE.
Jessa and Ben are on their way to an undisclosed honeymoon location. The wedding will air on the next season of 19 Kids and Counting.

Congratulations, Jessa and Ben! May God richly bless you both, continue to draw you closer to Him and each other, and use you both to be an incredible blessing to many!
ReplyDeleteAmen!
DeleteUgh, next season??
ReplyDeleteWill you add Ben to the header like you have for Derick
ReplyDeleteHope he will be added to soon since he is Jessa's husband now :)
DeleteCongratulations and Best wishes!!
ReplyDeleteDoes next season mean this winter? or September 2015?
ReplyDeleteLily and Ellie, did y'all go to the wedding?
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see this precious couple grow in the Lord like her brother and sister before her, what an amazing family!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations and thank you for sharing your love story with us. Many wishes for a long happy marriage like your parents
ReplyDeleteOh, how i wish we wont have to wait till the end of next season to see the wedding. That would be a shame. Her dress is stunning and look at that train. Now those are true cap sleeves not a tank top like some people call capped.Blush is my favorite color dress, very classy.
ReplyDeleteI see that TLC is doing the same thing with Jessa's wedding as they did with Jill's. Why air it months after the fact? I'm sorry that I won't care much about it then as I have a life to live myself. Many people are annoyed at this behind the times TV show airing. They simply take too long to air what they have filmed, and it's old news. Jessa will be expecting way before then also and Jill will deliver by then.
ReplyDeleteCongrats guys! I love your dress. You both look so happy. Praying that God blesses your marriage!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to change the cover photo of Jessa to Jessa and Ben!
ReplyDeleteWho's gonna be next? There has to be someone asking for permission to court a Duggar soon.
ReplyDeleteMore pics of the whole wedding party please!!!
ReplyDeleteCongradulations heres to an amazing wedding and a family of your own next.
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what that dress looks like , that is the very same one that i would pick out for myself. Its so delicate and pristine, just like Jessa...so beautiful.May those two beautiful Godlovin young folks be bless for all days to come.:-)
ReplyDeleteNext season?? TLC is torturing us!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Jessa's dress, cannot wait to see a better picture of it, she is a beautiful bride, congrats!
She looks ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL.
ReplyDeleteIs Jana in a courtship yet? Wish the best to all the newlyweds.
ReplyDeleteWhy does Jessa's cover pic only says her name when the other duggar couples have their significant other names included as well?
ReplyDeleteGive them at least a week it takes time to change things like that
DeleteIm sure it was a fantastic day, such a shame that here in England we don't see this till next year and then I suspect that it will be Jills wedding first!!, can you put more photos on here to give us all a taste of whats to come!!
ReplyDeleteLinda Oram, Leeds Engkand
Please put up another picture of Ben and Jessa, she looks so moody in the picture, and older than she really is. And you forgot to put up Bens name there!
ReplyDeleteCongradulations
ReplyDeleteWe love jessa and ben so much!!!
ReplyDeleteWe hope that all of you had a great time!
We wish we could have been there!!!
Mzal tov!!!
Why not white? Was she not pure enough?
ReplyDeletei thinK Jinger will be next
ReplyDeleteEvery blessing to you both, have a wonderful life together.
ReplyDeleteIn my head, I imagined Jessa planning the perfect small wedding.
ReplyDeleteI should have known it would be BIG...
Knowing that Jessa is a Duggar and Ben has a large family too!
CONGRATULATIONS!
(bring on the grand-duggers)
I love that color on Jessa. May she and Ben have a long and beautiful marriage. God Bless them both.
ReplyDeleteI don't quite understand why they "run" out of church. Seems very odd to me. However, I wish them a lifetime of love and happiness!
ReplyDeleteThis family gives me hope for my child's future. It's nice to know there really is still some God fearing people out there. Love these guys
ReplyDeleteWishing a life filled with Love and Happiness to Jessa and Ben!..I think it was a beautiful thing, that on one of the most important days of your lives,,you decided to do things your way and stay true to your hearts!..God's blessings to you both and your family.
ReplyDeleteWe do not get TLC with our lower cost Dish network..can you post more on the weddings please?
ReplyDeleteI would love to be able to follow.
Congratulations to Jessa and Ben .... I was tickled to hear there was no kiss at the alter but was kept for the two of you in private .... Bet that was a shocker to everyone else though!!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing your family with the world Jim Bob and Michelle. Please choose a better picture of Jessa and Ben for the family blog. It has a yellow cast on all the computers I have seen.
ReplyDeleteI love the cover photo. But they just put Jessa not Jessa&Ben.
ReplyDeleteIt will be easy to remember thier anniversary, since it is my birthday !!I have been watching your family grow since the show began.I love reality shows with morals, and virtues.Congrats to both sweet and beautiful couples on thier nuptuals!!!
ReplyDeleteI am so glad they chose to have their first kiss in private. Understanding the morality of 'waiting' but I would not want to share that with anyone, other than my beloved. I see Jessa in every part of this - she definitely has a mind of her own (blush dress!). How did Jim Bob take that?
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photo of the newlyweds. Jessa's dress is gorgeous, very feminine and love the color, suits her very well.
ReplyDeleteThat's such a beautiful dress!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations, Ben & Jessa!!
ReplyDeleteYou should update all the Duggar profile pictures.
ReplyDeletePlease update the photos on this website and please list the DUGGAR offspring first as they are the children of Jim Bob and Michelle, not the guys and Anna. Please, also do not list Josh and Anna's kids in with JB & M's kids...they are grandchildren and should be listed with their parents somehow. It is misleading. Thank You
ReplyDeleteIts wonderful to see you can have great morals and still have a great sense of style. Way to go Jessa!!! Congrats to both Jill and Derrick and Jessa and Ben
ReplyDeleteI am sure we all appreciate your efforts Lily & Ellie trying to update the banner and fill us in on all the details. I am guessing you both attended the wedding.
ReplyDeleteOnce you exhale adjustments will be made to add Ben's name and possibly another pic maybe on the horizon that seems happier...they did take some lovely shots that day.
God Bless you both & thank you
@Anonymous Wow! They can do whatever they want to with their own page. Misleading? They are all family too.
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Jessa and Ben. I wish you both the best.. Your family is incredible, I love you all
ReplyDeleteTLC, your ratings will hurt because of these huge delays.....we love the Duggars, but i agree....by the time it airs jessa and ben will probably be parents!
ReplyDeleteI've been jaded on the Duggar philosophy of childrearing lately but knowing that these two had the choice to forego a huge public audience for their first kiss has renewed my faith! Way to go Duggars! So glad Jessa and Ben had a choice in this. Bet the LORD approves and kudos for Jim Bob!!!!
ReplyDelete@Dee in Oklahoma
ReplyDeleteWe got rid of our cable but I buy them on amazon for abbout $2 per episode or you can buy the seasson for between 19-25 depending on when you buy, i think now its 22 but that is everything past and coming for that season
I have seen Jessa fix her hair nicer on an average day, its a little surprising . Erin Bates is such a talented pianist, I hope this version of the wedding march was a little more delicate than Jills, hers was so brash.I think the harp would have been beautiful.Maybe our sweet Jana will have the harp at hers, it seems befitting.
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteSeriously that is rude, every bride wants to have their perfect dress and hers is absolutely stunning. There are A LOT of women who wear white when they traditionally should not. The Duggars' are a Godly family and judging by the color of her dress and not the content of character they continuously show is just wrong.
Wow, a lot of negative and picky comments about the blog banner so I want to add a big thank you to Lily and Ellie for keeping us as up-to-date as possible with the family, great job ladies!
ReplyDeleteI wish people would stop talking about when she will have kids. Sometimes it takes awhile, do you remember how hard it was on Anna that it took a few months? Better not to put pressure on a woman on something not in her hands.
ReplyDeleteAnonymous 42:
ReplyDeleteThe title is 'The Duggar Family', not Jim Bob & Michelle's children.
Their family includes Grandma Duggar, the sons and daughters-in-law, and the grandchildren.
When is Ben's Birthday?
ReplyDeleteCan we have more pics of her dress? Please!!!!:):):) Its SO hard to wait for every show!!!!
ReplyDeleteLily and Ellie, did you attend this wedding too?
ReplyDelete@Jenna
ReplyDeleteHi Jenna,
We were at the wedding. It was a beautiful event.
Blessings,
Lily and Ellie
Anonymous #56: The birth order of the grandchildren are in line with Jim Bob and Michelle's children as if they are their biological kids. They are their grandchildren and should be noted as it is misleading.
ReplyDeleteI can see the choice of a blush dress, even though it traditionally is reserved for a second wedding....but why run out of the church? It seems so undignified. They are in a church, after all, not a park. And I agree - the same with Jill's hair at her wedding - it was plain except for a little braid. The Duggar girls have spent way more time on their hair on an ordinary day, like the cover of their book where all of their hair is gorgeous! The guests expect a kiss at the end of the ceremony - if you dont want them to witness it why invite them? Invite them just to the reception. I hope these two are ready for whats ahead. Where are they going to live, does anyone know?
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the happy couple! Jessa's dress is absolutely gorgeous. The color is so flattering on her and very trendy. The style is simply elegant. I'm loving the bow tie on Ben, too.
ReplyDeleteBeing a shy person, I appreciate or understand this couple's decision to keep things more private. I do hope that in due time as photos and video are edited, that we will see more from the wedding. It's totally a girl thing. Weddings just make me smile. From the flowers to the colors to the dresses.
It's been very interesting following the courtships, engagements and weddings of the Duggar Family. I'm older and made many mistakes when younger. I wish that I could go back and do them over the Duggar way.....or similar to the Duggar way.
Ben and Jessa are just a lovely couple and have good shoulders on their heads. They also have a great sense of humor. I wish them the very best.
Congratulations Jessa and Ben!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a life of happiness, love, joy and peace.
Blessings and All Good Things
Marion M and Joan
Congratulations Jessa and Ben I wish you two the best of luck on your journey through life together. Will be looking forward to hearing about when you two will be expecting....
ReplyDeleteGod bless the Duggars, it just goes to show that there are Godly people in the world. As for when Jessa and Ben will have kids, judging from the way those two look at each other and given the fact they are young and fertile, I'd say it won't be long before they hear the patter of little feet.
ReplyDeleteJessa and Ben: What a wonderful looking couple!
ReplyDeleteSurprised and actually disappointed to see that Jessa's beautiful dress was a blush color.
I always thought that a white wedding dress stood for purity, and as that is such an important part of the Duggar family's moral code, couldn't believe that she would not wear white. Maybe I am behind the times?
God Bless you both...
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous 6,
Yes, we were able to go to the wedding. :)
~Lily and Ellie
@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous 19,
No other Duggar courtships have been announced, but stay tuned! With 19 kids, another one is bound to happen sooner or later. :)
~Lily and Ellie
Everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, it's the bride's decision to wear what she wants on her special day. In different cultures brides don't always wear white. In India, brides wear red. White is only worn at funerals.
ReplyDeleteGod wants us to come to Him as is. He accepts us unconditionally. He isn't caught up in legalism or rituals. He doesn't care if you wear torn blue jeans, plaids and stripes together or a fuzzy bird sweater.
It's been entertaining watching the Duggar's on TV. I've learned some things about being a Christian and setting examples from watching their show. I think we can all agree that they are Godly people and live Godly lives. There's no doubt in my mind that Jessa and Ben have remained pure until their marriage. They are real people with feelings and emotions living in modern times. If I were the bride reading all the negative comments, I'd be crushed. Blush (pink)is one of the most popular colors for a wedding dress now.
Some people can't wear your traditional white and off white as it makes their skin look gray, yellow, washed out. Not to mention that the color of the wedding dress means absolutely nothing in these modern days so let the girls choose what ever color and style looks best on them in their eyes as your opinion really doesn't matter and all the negative comments can deeply hurt those you claim to care about and effect them for the rest of their lives . So if you can't say anything nice please don't say anything at all.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS JESSA, BEN, GOD BLESS YOU BOTH, LOVE TO WATCH THE DUGGAR FAMILY.
ReplyDeleteCongrats to a special couple! I'm really liking how the Duggar ladies might be viewed as overly traditional, but how they are using their brains to make new traditions, and question some of the old ones! I think it's great that Ben and Jessa saved that special moment for themselves!
ReplyDelete...are there any other courtships in the making? I'm really surprised that Jana
love you guys,so great to see a family that loves God and we are not violated by watching your show and following your family blog! God richly Bless You All!
ReplyDeleteLove You Guys! It is so great to watch something on tv and not be violated. I watch with the Grandkids and are able to pass down a lesson or 2 . God Richly Bless You All!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations on your marriage Be and Jessa. I pray that God will bless you both in your marriage. Just live for each other and keep God first. Congratulations again.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to the Ben and Jessa wedding but it will be a pretty one just like her sisters. I hope they keep the show on TLC because I look forward to watching it.
ReplyDeleteI agree. There are other shows that could be shifted around to accommodate more Duggars.
ReplyDeleteFélicitations à Mr, Mme Seawald !
ReplyDelete♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡

Oooh before I forget !
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love your choice for your dress , hairpiece , hairstyle and the little amount of make up you chose !
Bravo Jessa , bien choisi, bien portée !!

Brigitte Estelle Gaudreault♡♡
Jana is the prettiest Duggar!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Jessa and Ben, the dress was so beautiful, she look amazing. But one thing about the wedding was sooooo weird, WHO was the wedding planner? In all my years (over 60), I have NEVER seen canned SOUP serve at a wedding, it look cheap and in poor taste, Couldn't the parent afford something else?
ReplyDelete@Anonymous
ReplyDeleteHi Anonymous 85,
Jessa and Ben did not serve canned soup at their wedding reception. They served ice cream sundaes. :)
Blessings,
Lily and Ellie
I love you Dugger family and wish I could have been born into your family, maybe I would have been able to grow up with your morals and beliefs, but especially in a well loving family and learned how to really love.Congrats to jessa and ben. I do agree about how TLC makes us wait until after the fact, come on, I want to be a part of the lives when it is happening!
ReplyDeleteI was so disappointed not to get a closeup of the ring Ben designed together with the engagement ring, we just got sparkly glimpses.....too bad. Congrats to the couple!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHey There. I found your blog using msn. This is a very well written article.
